Get the most out of your Revolution Flex 3.0 Duallie with these 6 "hidden" features that you may have missed.
Adjustable Shocks
Little passengers don’t stay little forever. That's why the Duallie is designed with two suspension settings, helping to provide smooth rides as your children grow. Position 1 is a softer setting for a combined passenger weight of up to 50 lbs / 22.7 kg. When your children’s combined weight exceeds 50 lbs, switch to position 2 for a firmer setting. Always stay within the stroller’s weight limit of 50 lbs / 22. 7 kg per seat and 100 lbs / 45.5 kg total (including cargo).
To change the settings, first remove your children from the stroller. Depress the shock release knob (located on the outer side of each stroller seat) while sliding it into the preferred position. The knob will snap into place when in the correct position. Repeat on the other side. For full instructions, always refer to your user guide.
One detail that’s easy to miss: The shocks reset to position 1 when you fold the stroller. To use position 2, ensure you adjust the shocks after unfolding your stroller.
Front Wheel Tracking
Notice your stroller veering to one side when the front wheel is locked in jog mode? There’s an adjustment for that. The adjustable front wheel tracking feature allows you to fine-tune the stroller’s alignment to help prevent drifting. The tracking knob is located above the front wheel.
Before adjusting the tracking, perform the alignment test as outlined in the user guide. Then, follow the adjustment instructions as needed.
Seat Retention Strap
Located on the back of the stroller between the two seats, the seat retention strap is designed to help keep the seats level and prevent your children from dipping toward each other. When unfolding your stroller, loop the retention strap around the cross tube between the back wheels and secure it with the buckle. Make sure you do not loop the strap around or over the brake bar. Always follow the instructions in your user guide for proper retention strap use (see "Unfolding the Stroller").
Ten Pockets to Keep Essentials Organized
Double the passengers means double the snacks, beverages, toys, and gear. Luckily, your Duallie has 10 storage pockets to help keep all your essentials organized:
Two zippered pockets at the handlebar
Four mesh seatback pockets
Four in-seat pockets
Give your phone and other necessities a regular spot so you know where to find them when it’s time to head out. Remember, the combined weight limit for passengers and cargo is 100 lbs / 45.4 kg.
9 Handlebar Positions
Taking turns pushing? You don’t have to share the same handlebar setting. The nine-position handlebar can be easily adjusted to accommodate parents and caregivers of different heights, making it easy to find a comfortable pushing position.
Removable Rear Wheels
Packing up after an adventure can take a little planning, especially when trunk space is limited. The Duallie’s rear wheels can be removed when the stroller is folded, helping it fit into tighter storage spaces. It’s a handy option when you’re making room for the rest of your family’s gear.
Follow the instructions in your user guide for wheel removal and reinstallation, and check that the wheels are securely attached before every use.
Non-Negotiable Jogging Stroller Safety
As you get to know your Duallie and explore its hidden features, it's a great time to review essential safety guidelines as well. Make these steps a non-negotiable part of your jogging stroller routine:
Follow all age and usage guidelines as outlined in your user guide: Consult with your pediatrician regarding suitability and child readiness before using your jogging stroller. Use only with a compatible infant car seat & adapter until your child has sufficient head and neck control (approximately 8 weeks). Never run or jog with an infant or with an infant car seat attached to the stroller. For jogging or off-road stroller use, BOB Gear recommends you limit use of the stroller to children over the age of 8 months.
Lock the front wheel when you pick up the pace: The swiveling front wheel can help make maneuvering easier on casual walks. When you're ready to run, jog, walk fast, or explore off-road terrain, always lock the front wheel into jog mode.
Use the wrist strap: Always wear the wrist strap while using the stroller to help prevent becoming separated from it.
Engage the parking brake when stopped: Lock the parking brake during pauses in your walks and when you're getting your children into or out of the stroller.
Secure your child with the 5-point harness: Whether you're jogging or enjoying a slow stroll, always secure passengers with the 5-point harnesses. Adjust the shoulder strap height to sit just above your child's shoulders.
