Do you have any experience or advice regarding putting a brake on a Yak?

It seems that, if I only need to control speed when I'm descending with the trailer, that putting a drag brake on the trailer might be a good idea. It might also help with steering issues at higher speeds.

I'm handy enough to fit something, possibly an Arai drum, but is this a bad idea in some way that I don't anticipate?

I haven't heard of anyone putting a drag brake on a trailer, but I do know there was a discussion a while back in the forum in regards to it.

Besides issues with cable routing and stresses on the trailer fork and BoB Nutz, I can't see how the brake would be of much use unless you had a lot of weight in the trailer.

And by a lot I mean at least twice what the trailer is rated to carry.
