Each tire has an inner tube that simply needs to be patched or replaced when punctured. Just like the tires on your car, a tire can go flat from road debris such as broken bottles, thorns, etc. All manufactures of jogging strollers use a tire and inner tube to help keep the weight of the stroller to a minimum and provide a smoother ride for your child.
